The Handwriting

The hands of a people who became idle turned to more gold

For the worship of a golden idol, this people’s soul was sold,

A chasing of more merchandise and an ever growing largesse

A removal of the laws of God and still hoping for Him to bless.

Stranger and then stranger music played in a language of hate

Teachers carefully polluted a curriculum until it was too late,

A pandemic was perpetrated to destroy the people in the mask

Ushering in a new world order is the end goal of this Marxist task.

The Lord could have kept a hedge around this nation of waters

Would that the citizens kept their hearts pure as joyful followers,

But complacency led to complaining and the unrest of the masses

With hearts as empty as a vacuum and stubbornness to rival asses.

Mene, mene, tekel, upharsin are the words that are on my heart

They will destroy so many families and then tear them all apart,

There are so many misguided marshals that work for the state

Just waiting for the kickoff event that will seal this people’s fate.
